City by the Bay

Jim Maher is on his third musical journey that now takes us to the city by the bay.  His new musical “Hero” is a love story between two entirely different people in the most unlikely place. 

Emily is a liberal attorney out to save the world one human being at a time.  She sets up a non-profit organization to help with the homeless crisis but upon doing so her partners, Robin and Carter, decide to force her out of the club because of her relationship with a Fox news republican named Wyatt.  Is this the real reason for her removal from the organization?  What are Robin and Carter hiding?  Come see this riveting musical drama of love, jealousy, and manipulation unfold on the streets of San Francisco.   

Jim’s story, “Hero”, was inspired by his love of San Francisco and the everyday hero’s that walk among us.  He uses true stories of big city vigilantes like Phoenix Jones and Shadow Patriot to help craft his tale into a must-see production.  Songs like “In the Night” and “Underworld” touch upon the issues of homelessness and drug abuse, while “Destiny” reminds us of the beauty of San Francisco.  This politically and socially charged musical will challenge you and touch your heart.
